The Vikings inflicted Driffield’s second defeat on the road this season at a wind swept Silver Royd yesterday to move move into third place in the Eastern Merit Table.

A close-fought game saw the Scarborough second string make sure of victory with a late try from wing Tom Anderson. Fullback Henry Hackings was named man of the match,
