Sitting in sixth place in North One East Scarborough will travel looking to complete a league double over fourth placed Driffield at Kelleythorpe on Saturday.

The Woldsmen have won only two of their last seven games including last week’s 23-17 defeat at Cleckheaton; however they have a good home record and apart from a 37-28 defeat by Cleckheaton early in the season, their only slip-up was a 15-15 draw with Durham City on the 7th of January.

The clubs last met back in November on the day when prop Benny Blackall suffered a horrendous injury to his leg and has been out since. However the Seasiders took control that day and ran out 32-16 winners thanks to tries from Jonty Holloway, Jordi Wakeham, Drew Govier and Stuart Smyth.

Following last week’s 21-12 defeat of resurgent Durham City, Coach Simon Smith is awaiting the results of a couple of fitness tests before he can name his starting fifteen on Saturday.

On a busy weekend at Silver Royd both the Vikings and Danesmen entertain Driffield; all three games kick of at 3pm.
