Scarborough RUFC are on their travels once more on Saturday when they play Percy Park RFC at North Shields.

The Seasiders will look to bounce back from recent disappointments against a side they beat 48-31 in their first home game of the season back in September and are playing under their new Coach Ash Smith for the first time; his predecessor Lawrence Patton having returned to Newcastle Falcons. Smith who played in last week’s 47-14 defeat at Cleckheaton will be assisted by Michael Langlands and Andy Dunn who played in the 48-31 game in September.

On their last visit to Percy Park last season (December 2018); Simon Smith’s charges fought back from a 13-23 deficit late in the game to grab a draw with an Aaron Wilson try converted by Tom Ratcliffe who added an injury-time penalty.

The Seasiders have made a few changes from the side pipped at the post in injury time with a late try by visitors Kendal to lose 24-27 last week. They did however pick up a couple of losing bonus points and should travel in confident mood as they are unbeaten against the Geordies in this league.
