Scarborough RUFC returns to league action this afternoon against Driffield looking to bounce back from last Saturday’s 10-31 defeat in the Yorkshire Shield at Silver Royd.

The Seasiders show several changes from last week’s injury-hit squad; in the backs Aaron Wilson, missing three weeks with concussion, returns to play on the wing, Billy Parker returns from injury at inside centre with Tom Ratcliffe moving back to his usual berth at fly half. Jonty Holloway continues at fullback for the injured Henry Hocking.
Up front Matty Jones plays at loose head prop, last week’s man of the match Luke Brown is back in familiar territory in the second row whilst Euan Govier and Chris Purdy return to the back row Benny Blackall, Jordan Holloway and Jack Anderson are on the bench.
Last season honours were even in North One East with both sides winning on the road; Driffield 42-26 at Silver Royd and Scarborough 27-22 at Kelleythorpe.
On their last league outing Driffield lost 28-37 to visitors Cleckheaton at Kelleythorpe whilst Scarborough won 14-13 at Durham City to nudge Driffield out of top spot in North One East.

Don’t forget kick off is at 2.15pm
