PHIL WATSON ( BLUE SCRUM CAP) RETURNS TO ACTION AT YORK ON SATURDAY pictures ANDY STANDING
High flying Scarborough travel to Clifton Park on Saturday looking to extend their three game bonus point winning start to the season.
York has been racking up points for fun and last Saturday pummelled visitors Wheatley Hills to a 76-14 defeat. Scarborough had beaten ‘hills’ 29-15 at their home ground last week.
The Seasiders will welcome back second row Phil Watson and centre Billy Parker who were unavailable last week. Jim Perrett will move to full-back with Jack Anderson continuing on the right wing. Aaron Wilson, last week’s man-of-the-match with start at no8. Mikey Whitton, Ben Martin and veteran Paul White are on the bench.
Victories at Clifton Park are rare but Coach Simon Smith’s young team will look to stretch their winning start to a fourth consecutive win against a team who are looking like prospective Yorkshire One champions. Best of luck to the young seasiders!!
