Scarborough grabbed their fourth consecutive Yorkshire One win at Heath RUFC thanks to a couple of tries from wingman Matty Young who has been scoring tries for fun this season.
The big winger ran in an early try converted by centre Graham Hogg to give the Seasider an early lead. The West Yorkshiremen struck back with a try under the posts to level the scores at 7-7 early in the second half.
The visitors struck back almost immediately with a try from Aaron Wilson to lead 12-7 but were pegged back with a couple of penalties from fullback Ezra Hinchliffe which saw Heath lead 13-12.
Always the more positive of the protagonists Scarborough regained the initiative with a try from teenage wing Jonty Holloway to lead 17-13 with ten minutes to go.
Hinchliffe kicked another penalty for the west Yorkshiremen to reduce the arrears to three points at 19-16 with the clock running down in the 77th minute. However Young got on the end of a superb flowing move to power over in the 80th minute and Hogg kicked the conversion for a well-deserved 24-16 bonus-point win.
