A ‘game of two halves’ at West Park Leeds!

2016-01-10 3G TWO SHARP

I was as usual reporting on Scarborough for the SCARBOROUGH NEWS yesterday at West Park Leeds. The Silver Royd ‘Bratpack’ had a nightmare error strewn first half and a really lively WPL side took full advantage scoring a couple of well worked tries. At 10-0 to ‘Park’ the game could have been over had they scored when camped on the Scarborough line for five minutes but ‘white line fever’ prevailed. After a half-time rollocking Scarbs looked a different side and just about deserved their narrow win. There appeared to be a few new faces in the WPL side but it was nice to see former Scarborough back row Chris Lee who had a good game. Great idea to use the 3G pitch but the game didn’t start until 2.45pm and the lights were totally inadequate. My apologies for my numerically challenged tweets @SN_Sport but I am a septuagenarian and was trying to write a report, tweet and take photographs! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!
