SCARBOROUGH’S TRY SCORER AT PONTEFRACT MARTIN ROBINSON

Scarborough’s Yorkshire One fixture at Pontefract this afternoon was abandoned after 25 minutes when the match referee was unable to carry on after sustaining an ankle injury. The Seasiders were leading 10-7 at the time thanks to a try from scrum-half Martin Robinson which was converted by skipper Tom Ratcliffe who had earlier kicked a long-distance penalty. Pontefract took an early lead with an interception try.
