Playing with a gale behind them visitors Scarborough led 14-0 at half-time in this North Yorkshire derby thanks to three penalties from fly-half Tom Harrison and a Joe Marshal  try. Harnessing the elements after the break the Minstermen drew level at 14-14 with a couple of converted tries. A spirited repost from Scarborough could have won the game but a turnover deep in York territory saw the home side break away for a 79th minute winner. The visitors were camped on the York line at the death but failed to score. FINAL SCORE: YORK 19  SCARBOROUGH 14.
