VERY SHORT ON LINE COLUMN – BRODS AWAY!

2 Nov

With the sidelining of skipper Phil Watson, his deputy Nino Cutino and second row Charlie Hoggard with injury, Coach Lee Douglas has had to re-shuffle his pack for today’s trip to in-form Old Brodleians. Paul Taylor comes in for Cutino and Joins Tommy Goodman and Mark Hopper in the front row; behind them Matthew Else moves up from No8 to replace Hoggard and Rob Sutton comes in at Blind-side with Chris Purdy, who captains the side, replacing Else at No8. With Graeme Jeffrey still recovering from concussion, Tom Ratcliffe moves to fullback from centre where Billy Parker makes his first start of the season. Jan Teiber, Ryan Pickering and Matthew Oxtoby are on the bench. This is a very short piece this week as I’ve had visitors and have been trying to sort myself out with a lift to Old Brods. Derek Anderson has come to the rescue and I’m off shortly!
