SINAKO DUNYWA MAKES HIS FIRST XV DEBUT
Coach Jason Lowde has rung the changes for Saturday’s Yorkshire One game with Pontefract as Scarborough look for a win to end a recent run of poor results. The Seasiders’ supremo has reshuffled his back division which shows six positional and one personnel change from the side that lost 33-14 at Huddersfield YMCA two weeks ago; Jake Rollinson returns at scrum-half for Zbyněk Schütz who is on international duty with the Czech Republic. Two changes up front sees Charlie Hoggard start in the second row and newcomer Sinako Dunywa make his first team debut for the club at No8; Ian Williams, Phil Austin and Mikey Readman are on the bench. Pontefract come off the back of an unexpected 33-29 home defeat by Old Brodlieans two weeks ago and have a defence which has leaked tries this season conceding an average of 28 points per game so it could be a high scoring encounter. When the clubs met last season, Scarborough had the upper hand in both games winning 46-40 in a thriller at Pontefract and 36-22 at Silver Royd.
