Wing Tim Visser scored a couple of tries in Scotland’s 37-25 defeat of Fiji in a punishing game played in 32 degree heat this morning. This was the Scots second win on the tour which started with the defeat of Australia last week. Elsewhere both Ireland and Wales were sunk in the final minute of their games against the All Blacks and Australia respectively; a Dan Carter  drop-goal snatching a 22-19 win for  New Zealand following a totally committed performance from Brian O’Driscoll and his men and a late penalty clinching a hardly-deserved victory for the Aussies following a good performance from the Grand Slam winners.  England were blown away in the early stages of their game at Joburg trailing 3-22 in the opening quarter. A creditable second half fightback saw Stuart Lancaster’s men close the deficit to four points but the Boks clinched the series with a late JP Peitersen try for a 36-24 win. A good turnout at the J.M. Guthrie were well fed and watered but ultimately very disappointed once more.
